a simple trick to make yahoo messenger multi login
u hv 2 just make a little change in registry nd ur done.

click start button,then run and then type regedit and then look for
HKEY_CURRENT_ USER
Software\yahoo\ pager\Test. then change this value of plural to like this
"Plural"=dword: 00000001

nw no need 2 restart
just enjy

then right click and press dword and name it as plural and its value as 00000001 .

I did this n didnt notice any change...how to activate multiple instances?i logd in in2 oneaccount then again clicked the y msngr icon on desktop but the same messenger window opens! not a 2nd one...
Am i doin it rite?

Make sure the spelling and everything is correct. Plural should have value 1 and should be of type DWORD

I even downloaded a dot reg files with this value.even after importin it i cudnt find any success...But i found one gud alternative..Yahoo Multi messenger(free)...a simple software..can open multiple instances...no registry edit..just install with the provided instructions. The only negative is that a security update nag keeps coming up and wenever u activate ur cam the confirmation dialog pops up..Even tho u check the box"dont display this msg again"..

Even the security update nag can be disabled by renaming the "yupdate.exe" in program files to"yupdate.exe.bak".But still not found a way to disable the webcam activation dialog!
And i also found curiously "You cannot ignore urself" box popup repeately in chatrooms! Donno wy!
