Dedicated Usenet binary grabber?

Is there such a thing for Ubuntu? I don't like using newsreaders for
handling usenet binary files and much prefer dedicated binary grabbers
like Grabit for Windows.

Thanks, looks a bit easier to set up than the other posters suggestion.
Thanks to him too but think I'll give BNR a tryout instead.

BTW, how do you get it so your devil logo shows up in Pan?

You will need to add a custom header called an X-Face header.

Klibido is good for binaries.

Think it's in the repos too.

Hi Fish

I am in the process of moving from Windows to Ubuntu and faced a similar
scenario.

I found Klibido to be a great alternative to Grabit, and its available via
the repositories.

I will second that, filtering can be a little slow on large groups but
downloading and decoding is superbly reliable and fast. (Never used grabit
so can't compare, but it does what I want with no fuss - was a n00b to
binary NGs until switching to Kubuntu and Klibido)

Installation a snap from your package manager.
