Got a Treo 650 and need help.

Hi all.
I just switched from a Samsung SCH-A870 to the much anticipated(for me
anyways) Treo 650. My questions are thus:
1. Are there any good replacement programs for the yahoo/aim/msn messengers
that were included with the samsung?

2. Is there any way to use already paid for Get It Now apps on a
smartphone?

3. Is it possible to use the backup assistant with the Treo?

4. Are there any programs or utilites that you consider essential for a
Treo?

5. What are some good resources for free/shareware programs and games for
the Treo.

6. Are there any known issues with Verizon and the Treo 650 that I should
know about?

7. Any Treo hacks/tips/tricks?
