WMV distorted audio

I'm using the ImTOO Video to Zune Converter and I'm having problems with the resulting WMV audio. If converting a Direct Show file the audio sounds fine, but if it's a non Direct Show file the audio is messed up. The distortion is worse for parts that are higher pitched.
Is there anything I can do to correct this?

Like I said, if I can add it as a Direct Show file, it works fine. However, I can't use the Direct Show option with some files (i.e. some Divx) because they come in as only audio if I do.

I would appreciate any help or advice as to how to fix this.

i recommend u to convert the video files to .mp4 format
