Exclamation Video Cropping (Top & Bottom black bars)

I am trying to convert DVD's to Xbox 360 WMV and no matter what profile and setting combination I always get extra black space at the top and bottom of the converted video.

Is there a way to get just the video (no black) in the converted file so that the player can manage fitting it to the screen?

Thanks!

P.S. - Running the latest version!

Re: Video Cropping (Top & Bottom black bars)

I have tried setting the zoom to full and that only removes the side black bars. There are still bars at the top and bottom.

I want the output video to be just the video itself, no black border on any side.

Is it possible that the video size setting is forcing the output height and therefore causing the black space?

It is possible that the video size setting is forcing the output height and therefore causing the black space.I don't know the exact bitrate are you using, you can try to set the "aspect" to "16:9"
And I want to know if you are using ImTOO DVD ripper ultimate? If it's ultimate version, there is a function of crop, you can set the crop to try again.

Re: Video Cropping (Top & Bottom black bars)

I am using DVD Ripper Ultimate and I get the black bars on the top and bottom even when using 16:9 settings.

Can you direct me to the crop function so that I can give that a try?

Thanks!

It's easy to use the crop function. Please open"Edit--Effects",then highligt "enable crop",while not highlight"keep aspect ratio",set the second size, and you will get it.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to let me know.
