Blue Screen Error

I recently (2 days ago) added the ImTOO Video to Audio to my Acer Aspire 1 computer to convert mp4/mvi files to mp3. I converted about 40 successfully, but not each time I start converting a file, it shuts down, asks to send an error report, and goes to a "blue screen error" and restarts the computer.

I have downloaded all updates for Windows XP and other programs, checked that I have enough free memory (98GB), run virus scans which were negative, but this still occurs frequently. The only thing I haven't done is to remove the application - if I do this I would have to pay $26 again as I didn't pay extra to have multiple downloads.

Any advice would be helpful.
