MKV file won't open in Video Converter Ultimate 7
I can play this MKV file in VLC
I have ImTOO Video Converter Ultimate 7 and this is the second file that the software cannot recognize and import into its interface. http://pastebin.com/zaA1uavz What else do you need about the file in order to diagnose. Please tell me how to extract other info you need. Many regards Last edited by oSPPXYb2d3; 22-01-2013 at 10:30 AM.. |

Re: MKV file won't open in Video Converter Ultimate 7
I think you have a bot problem, the above post is SPAM.
Another problem (Video Converter Ultimate 7)I have a video file which plays both video and audio (MVK) in VLC. In the software preview plays video but no audio. I am trying to convert this file to mp4, but when I try to convert it, the audio is missing. I tried both including and excluding the subtitles. GUI indicators Audio: `01 mpeg4acc -2ch (Undetermined) Subtitles: `None` http://pastebin.com/U5KF7rKY Can you help with this too? I have found other files with the same audio problem, VLC plays audio and video but the Video converter cannot play the audio in certain files, I cannot convert without audio. Re: MKV file won't open in Video Converter Ultimate 7
Hmm another issue...
I have a folder with VIDEO_TS, AUDIO_TS, Video Converter Ultimate 7 cannot simply convert these to an avi or something. Aimersoft Video Converter Ultimate does this from what I have read! (feature requeuest) ---------------------------------------------------------- Is it normal when converting, for the displayed output file to change from the pre convert figure? If so, what is the point of having a target file size when it changes? | Pre Convert | Post convert | Actual file size File 1 | 752.8 MB | 1.7GB MB | 1,756,248 KB File 2 | 485.4 MB | 977.7 MB | 1,001,172 KB File 3 | 524.5 MB | 1.3GB | 1,405,926 KB File 4 | 435.5 MB | 517.4 MB | 529,769 KB I also don't understand what the use is of the bitrate calculator? I am converting most of my files either to video 768k or 512k bitrate, H.264?MPEG4 AVC. I am hoping this is all I need for streaming remotley via PLEX, I only need standard definition really, and streaming lowers the quality to save bandwidth. Converting the files to a smaller size is better than the 3-4GB files I have on my server. Is there any advice the experts can give? Do support read these threads? I did get the support URL from the ImToo website. |

Re: MKV file won't open in Video Converter Ultimate 7
These might seem like teething problems, but there is no need for me to be ignored.
I have asked for a refund because of the lack of support. Shame really, I loved the performance. |

We aren't ignoring you, it's just that no-one here (I would guess) has experience with this software. I always use freeware for these purposes.

Thank you habibjp
Do the developers use this website? What is the point of this support forum, a user forum or user Developer forum? Another file which won't open in this software ImToo won't open - Pastebin.com I had to convert it with another software. Plays and converts with other software?? Re: MKV file won't open in Video Converter Ultimate 7
This is a forum of (talented) computer users with just about enough time on our hands to offer advice as and when we can. No hardware or software reps I'm afraid.

Re: MKV file won't open in Video Converter Ultimate 7
It's a shame there isn't much knowledge shared here habibjp
Do you know what the usefulness is of the Bitrate Calculator under tools. I just seem to convert everything as H264/MP4 512bit video, that is fine for storing and playback remotely. |

Re: MKV file won't open in Video Converter Ultimate 7
Hi again
Is there any way to save the Job list? It would be nice to be able SAVE, shutdown the PC, then come back later, turn it on and restore the list... Also it would be nice to either pause/stop jobs, save list, turn off the PC, restore Job later. I found some more files that won't convert, why do you think when support know about this thread and issues, that they don't want to make the software even more awesome? How many customers would take the time to do this? Naff support, fast software but buggy and lacking features... It would be nice to be able to have a `convert all to profile` I use the DivX quite a lot, but I want ALL my files saving to 920k video I have not managed to find a way of setting the Output bitrate permanently in the profile... |
