Cool How to extract video's background music and make it into phone ringtone?

How to extract video's bg music and make it into phone ring

I have a video file, and I love its background music very much and wish to use it as cellphone ring. But the problem is, I don't know its name, so can't download it directly.

Now I hope to extract the background music and cut out part of it as cellphone ring. Could someone know which software can make it? By the way, my cellphone supports mp3 format as ring.
any help appreciated

many software can extract audio file, but it depends on your video format

One thing that u can do is, open the video file in VirtualDub.

and then click File -> save WAV. this will save in the wav format, which u can later change it to many different formats using numerous softwares available.

and the easiest solution out is...

Open Sound recorder of windows
goto properties.
set the recording option to Stereo out/ Line out/ "NAME OF your Soundcard " out [ Which is previously at Line in or Microphone]

now play the video..at the same time record using recorder..

you will get the Music you want

If you don't mind it is a shareware, I recommend the imtoo 3gp video converter.
You can see here: to get more information about it!
