Installing a shared printer and setting it as the default using GPP in Windows 10
Hi, I`m new here. Is anyone successfully installing a shared printer from a print server and setting it as the default using GPP on Windows 10?

Re: Installing a shared printer and setting it as the default using GPP in Windows 10
Please check if you have any error messages in the Event viewer; that is a good starting point.
I've seen some posts in the MS forums about a similar issue; apparently KB3172985 update broke the GP deployment of printers. If you have it installed in the clients, please try manually uninstalling it.
Also, if you are using Win10 build 1607, make sure that you are using the latest printer drivers. The anniversary update is known to break previously working Drivers in Win10.
