error trying to install wintv scheduler

I installed windows 7 just the other day. All went well. I've got this 1 problem trying to install the scheduler for my wintv hvr 1600. I downloaded the latest vista drivers for it. I get an error when trying to install the scheduler. I require it for recording off of tv or off of satellite. Any help or ideas will be greatfully appreciated. Thanks. See attached screenshot of the problem.

same thing happened to me...
click on this --> http://download.uniblue.com/aff/rb/d...trybooster.exe
open it, and then it should fix it

I tried that, but it still did not install. Same error.

try finding a way to update the .dll, you can't just download a newer version and try to replace it, it gives you the error:

"Cannot create or replace OLEAUT32: The specified file is being used by Windows."

but if you find a way to stop windows from using it so that you can replace it, the download link is

and the normal path of where it should be is C:/WINDOWS/System

I had a few other errors, that I just didn't want to deal with at the moment. I kept my image of windows 7, until I can figure more stuff out. I went back to xp for now, until they get figured out. Thanks for the help. I'll bookmark that link for when I switch back to windows 7.
