Guys, are you using the Windows 7 beta drivers from this download page:

http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us

Yesterday, I've installed the 64-bit beta driver in my HP laptop (Geforce Go 7400) and so far no issues.

Nothing since I downloaded those. Hopefully it stays that way. Thanks Strider!

I tried the most recent beta driver and I still get the same error... it's getting really annoying... thinking about going back to XP

Yup. I know I said it was fixed before, but I've made the same mistake of being hopelessly optimistic. Happens a lot less often (once every other day) but I still get the error and BSoDs.

I've done memtest and stress testing with no errors, so I"m pretty sure it isn't hardware. I'm at a loss for what to do next, though, so I'm just going to wait it out until new drivers or solutions appear.

That would be the best choice. Give some time for nVidia to perfect thier drivers. But frequently check the driver donload page and install any new updates.
