ipad 3x the size of android

android has phone & expansion slot

I Go For Apple Ipad As There Are Thousands Of Apps Available, Unlike Android.

I'd go for Android. Although they don't have as many Apps, they will shortly.

the GalaxyTab doesn't look that bad, but it's no iPad!

And most of the apps in android market are designed for smaller screen, so they might end up being scaled up to fit in to GalaxyTab's large screen. The sim-free version pricing here in UK is around £600 while you can get an iPad for less than £500.

The pricing just doesn't make any sense. The only positive point about GalaxyTab is that it is can be used to make phone calls as well, but do you really need a tablet to make calls??

Anyway, here is a good review.

Looks like I'm getting a Samsung (xmas gift from client).
It's more "future proof" than the ipad (i hope) and it's free so no looking at gift horses in the mouth.
