Question grub partition deleted accidently

Hi frnds,

I have Dell laptop which had ubuntu 13.01 and windows 7 os as dual boot. On ubuntu I faced some problem in font. I was not able to change it. even when i set font to english it showed me boxes instead of english. Hence i decided to remove ubuntu. one of my frnd suggested to deleted the partion of ubuntu and try with windows 7 cd to change the boot option.

I deleted ubuntu installed partition from win 7 and restarted the system. now its showing me Grub partition missing...

Anybody help!!

I tried with ubuntu live CD and live USB and its showed ubuntu screen with logo at bottom after sometime it shows read error sector some number in small letters.

i tried to reinstall ubuntu along the side with windows 7 but it show cant make partition as already many.

i just want my windows 7 seven back.

any body pls help with some screenshot so tat i can easily fix my fault.

now i have put my livecd and tried again it show error in a dialog box /casper/vmlinuz: file not found

Re: grub partition deleted accidently

GRUB is the bootloader; it won't boot because there is nothing to carry it from BIOS to OS. I think it's fixable but I'm not sure how (sorry). Easiest solution is to do a clean reinstall.

For ur note: your were ri8. I repaired ubuntu using usb stick. and it automatically gave me again the option to win7. i ran a Dell diagnostics test. the report insisted me that critical error occurred in HDD and contact dell support.
Clean re-install done! backed-up all data and done a re-install and removed the grub partition.
