Help on security mechanisms needed

Hi all I have these few questions I would like to have answered as I am stuck

1. I am running McAfee 8.7i. It updates well when a client is connected directly to the Internet but fails when connecting through a proxy which runs on port 8080. Is there a way how I could make it update via proxy?

2. Is there an antispyware program which autoupdates on its own just like an antivirus and if possible updates via a proxy as well?

3. Does anybody knows of a way how I could block access to the USB ports of some of the clients connected to our company domain?
