Haven't done that yet, but I think you need to take the following steps:
1. find and download a Windows bootable iso
2. get yourself a tool that "burns" that iso on the usb stick (like nero does with it's "burn image" feature)
3. change boot sequence in bios so that usb comes before your hard drive

I've used WindowsPE, BartPE & nLite and all work just fine. For a beginer nLite would be easier.
