Start Menu and MMC issues in Windows 2003
We have multiple Windows 2003 Standard domain controllers that randomly experience an issue where the Start Menu\All Programs sub folders will not expand. When we notice this happening, we also experience the inability to open Windows Event Logs or open MMC related property windows.
So far the only solution we have is to reboot the system and everything starts working. Because of the amount of domain controllers we have experiencing this issue, we are rebooting one or more every other day. Any one else experiencing this or have a fix action? |

Re: Start Menu and MMC issues in Windows 2003
This can be due to a number of reasons e.g. malware infections, missing patches, badly coded software etc.

Also make sure that your Windows 2003 has all the latest service packs and updates installed (along with an updated server Antivirus). |
