Where do I find 'Application Event Log'?

Hi,
I have quite a few XML files in the 'Failed' folder, I have found some
documentation that says that an event is entered into the application event
log, where do I find this?
As the XML file is in the Failed folder, I don't see a Report for the
package in the Package Report screen,so I can't see where to get information
from application event log
--
Thanks
Steve

RE: Where do I find 'Application Event Log'?

Found the 'Application Event Log' is nothing to do with ACT (where I was
looking),its under 'Manage',Event Viewer', Application.
Will see if that gives me a clue..

Re: Where do I find 'Application Event Log'?

What is the prefix of the files in the failed logs, is it STA,BKT or
something else?

This informational message below suggests the install was successful. You
may have provided an output location for the SAT logs while running the
test. Please pick up the XML logs from this location and move it to the root
of the Log processing share. The SAT logs will get processed and you shoulg
be able to view the report under ACM.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Re: Where do I find 'Application Event Log'?

Thanks for the reply :- )
All of the logs in the Failed folder have a prefix of SAT, does that mean
that there was a problem with SAT? I do have quite a few XML Files in the
Failed folder and I know that most if not all finnished with the 'SAT
sucessfully Complete message', so a bit strange that they are going into the
Failed folder, I have coped them over to the Processed folder but they still
don't appear, and I have check hat the Log Processing sevice is running, any
other thought?

Thanks

Re: Where do I find 'Application Event Log'?

Copying the files to the processed folder is not going to help. You will
need to move the files to the root folder of the LPS share and when LPS
tries to process them they will either get to the failed or the processed
based on the processing.

I suggest you copy the logs to the root folder of the LPS share and in case
the SAT logs fail, please look at the eventvwr for any errors reported. If
there are please report back with the errors.

Thanks
