Intermediate image
I would like to create an image with all drivers to use it as a base to
install applications. Using BDD I installed XP SP2 and all drivers/tools from Toshiba. I used the second option (Copy Sysprep files but do not Sysprep or Capture), because not all of Tosiba tools install smoothly and I would like to check before imaging. After that I manually ran Sysprep -mini -seal -quite and captured c: drive into WIM. Then I defined a new OS based on this WIM and created a build using this OS. I started WinPE and selected an application to install. WinPE installed the image and booted from HDD. But BDD is not continuing I've simply got an XP logon screen. And if I log on BDD is not starting either. Possibly I need to change something before Sysprep? Or add anything to sysprep.inf? Thanks a lot for any help. -alex |

Re: Intermediate image
I found I can force BDD to continue if I start
"c:\minint\scripts\litetouch.wsf" manually after logon with my credentials. Not sure why it does not start automatically after sysprep - it is in "GuiRunOnce" of my sysprep.inf -Alex "Alex Ignatenko" <Alexig@trump.ca> wrote in message news:4B7F51AE-5D66-48FE-99B3-ABCB3E05FFEA@microsoft.com... >I would like to create an image with all drivers to use it as a base to >install applications. > Using BDD I installed XP SP2 and all drivers/tools from Toshiba. Re: Intermediate image
You need to make sure that you sysprepped the machine using our sysprep.inf
template. This will add all of the autologon parameters needed to have the XP machine autologon and finish the installation.
