WinXP SP3 Sysprep Removing "Windows Media Player" shortcut

I am using sysprep from the SP3 version of deploy.cab and have modified my
Default User profile to my liking (knowing that the Administrator profile is
NOT copied to the Default User profile). After running sysprep, I notice two
things:

1. The "Windows Media Player" shortcut is removed from the Start Menu of
the Default User profile. It was there prior to running sysprep.

2. Despite telling sysprep to login one time automatically as
Administrator, it does not. The Administrator password appears to be set
properly, perhaps it has something to do with encrypting the password in
sysprep.inf.

Anybody else experienced these issues, and if you have do you know a
work-around?
