Default What is "Search Enhancement Pack" ??

I have a PC running XP, SP3 and for some time now during boot-up a file
folder pops up with the line Search Enhancement Pack.

I usually just delete it and that's the end of it until the next re-boot.

It is not in any of the Startup Folders in Documents and Settings.

Any idea how to get rid of it ??

TIA,

Sam Hagen

Look in Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel to uninstall it.

It's part of the Live toolbar. Did you download and install Live recently?

According to this, the Search Enhancement Pack can install, even
if the Live toolbar wasn't installed. There is a command prompt
command to remove it, here. The GUID value is a function of the
version.

Yes, I have heard of Google and I have "googled" the issue, but none of the
first five or six headers had solutions to the problem. I then decided to
post the question here and ask the experts.

Apparently you're not one of them.

If I wanted to get your kind of support and help, I would
have asked my wife.

Correction: Just as arrogant as you ... after all it is actually her
PC that has the glitch, not mine, but she's never short of a
wise-ass comment ... sound familiar ??
