Pink subtitles when playing a DVD i WMP and Vista Media Center

Hi !

I have just installed Vista with Media Center, but when playing a DVD in
Media Center the subtitles a kinda pink !? - Have at look at
http://www.runberg.dk/pink_subtitles.jpg

When i try to play the same DVD in WMP the subtitles are also pink as
default, but if i resize the window, the subtitles get white and "normal" at
some sizes!?

When playing the DVD in WinDVD theres no problems at all, but it doesn't
help me in Media Center.

I have experienced the same problem ind Windows XP Media Center, but after
installing WinDVD and the codecs from here the problem where solved, so my
guess is that this is a codec related problem.

I have therefore tried to install winDVD again, and Vista Codec Pack, but
still with no succes.

Hope someone can help me!!

Re: Pink subtitles when playing a DVD i WMP and Vista Media Center

Hi Runberg

I have exactly the same error, it is a HP D530 with a hauppygauge wintv (500) card, Toshiba 37" lcd screen. I have installed a fresh copy of vista ultimatedid with no codecs or anything just vista and still the subtitles are pink (with a little green around it). Just wondering did you solve this? You seem to be the only one in the whole world with this problem. Pink subtitles is only in media center not if I play the dvd in media player outside of media center....

Regards Mattias
