.avi files stopped working
Hi there,
Okay, this is a pretty serious issue because I do a lot of work with video on my computer. All of a sudden one day, after installing NOTHING new, my computer stopped playing .avi files. The only program that will launch them is the DivX player. WMP says that it does not support the file format and won't open them. Premiere Pro which I edit in no longer recognized .avi as a valid file type. No other program will open them. Other types of video (windows media, .mov, etc) play fine. Any suggestions/comments/steps to try to isolate this problem? I have already checked the file type associations. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
