Deleting unwanted streamed files?

I have file names that no longer work in the history of my files that will
not go away. I read where I should be able to go into toolsptionsrivacy
and delete the history files. My version of WMP does not give me the
"privacy" option and right clicking the files renders no selections. How in
the world am I going to get this junk off of my files list?
