Computer policy not working

Windows 2003 DC and XP workstation.

I created a GPO to apply DNS suffixes and I discovered that it is not working.

I created an OU for test, I moved the computer account to that OU and I
linked the GPO to that OU.

I restarted the computer and run gpresult.
What I got is only:

The following GPOs were not applied because they were filtered out

DNS Suffixes
Filtering: Not Applied (Empty)

All the user policies have been applied and this problem seems to affect only
computer policies.

It seems like you linked the policy to a wrong place. You need to link
it to an OU in which you put the computer objects from Active Directory.

cheers,
