DNS server stop to respond to queries
Hi
From time to time I have a strange problem where DNS servicestop's to respond to clients reguest to resolve querie, for example I can not connect anymore with nslookup but in procesess or services I can see that DNS.EXE is still started and running. Does anyone have some clue what might go wrong or what is going on ? DNS is running on Win Svr 2003 Std. R2 32bit SP2 |

R2 32bit SP2 Can post a response you get with nslookup? Have you checked that DNS is listening on the IP address you have configured in TCP/IP? Also, ipconfig /all would be very helpful. -- Best regards, Kevin D.
