User account locks up
I have a new Dell desk top with Windows Vista. My user account automatically
locks when the system goes into power save mode after not being used for awhile. I have to shut down and re-boot. Is there a way to avoid having my user account lock up ? |

Re: User account locks up
For some reason i can't link to the damn thing, but Brink wrote a tutorial for this. It's called "Password Protection on Wakeup". You'll have to do a search for it. -- Brian the King |

Re: User account locks up
The easiest way to resolve this issue is : Go to Control Panel -> Hardware
and sound ->Power options. Click on 'Require a password on wakeup'. Click on this a dialog will open. Click on 'Change settings that are currently unavailable'. Then select the option 'Dont require a password'.. -Chandan Omkar "Brian the King" wrote: > > For some reason i can't link to the damn thing, but Brink wrote a > tutorial for this.
