Sound Level Adjustments?
The volume on my HP Pavilion 6142 is very low and not loud enough to hear
CD's of videos. Am I missing any adjustments consoles? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks |

Re: Sound Level Adjustments?
Go to Start Menu>Control Panel>Sound>double click on speakers>open Enhancements>make sure "Equalizer" and "Loudness Equalizer" are checked. -- a830pc |

Re: Sound Level Adjustments?
That's the fix I've been working on for 3 days now! Just purchased a Toshiba
P205D-S8804 w/Vista Home Premium installed. The sound from DVDs was so low. I searched several different forums and finally found something about a registry edit as posted by MS. No change with that so they sent me a hotfix which I was not able to unzip because of some error code. When I addressed that particular problem all I got back was who to contact. No help on what the error code was about. After more searching I found this original post--thankfully! And it turns out all I had to do was click 2 boxes?!?! Unbelieveable! THANK YOU a830pc for the help!
