A8V-VM SE Sound Problems

I've been searching for a while now and I can't find a Realtek driver
that will work with Vista Ultimate 64-bit edition.

Can someone help me out here and point me in the right direction?

thanks..but that doesn't help that much. Most of the drivers don't seem
to work.

Hi deltrey,

Assuming that you are correct in saying you need a Realtek driver, the
website is . However, most of the Realtek drivers are not
digitally signed at the moment, and Vista 64-bit edition will only accept
signed drivers (there may be a way round this, but you will have to 'Google'
for it as I don't know). You could try the Microsoft site to see if they have
any suitable drivers, although this is not usually recommended for hardware
from manufacturers other than Microsoft themselves.

I have no problem with the 64-bit drivers - they are signed. There is
"Soundmax" manager that gets 'blocked' at startup. Two mouse clicks, or
just remove it from startup.
