Does your camera have an i-Link (firewire, IEEE 1394) connector?
To use the USB connection, you will need a driver/program from Sony. Have you checked the Sony web site? I Bleed Blue and Gold GO BEARS! Re: Help with transfering DV tape from cam to computer?
I have the same problem, apparently sony know about the problem and offer a new software package from thier site, only problem there is whenever i enter the camera details(handycam DCR-HC44E) it wont accept the name!!!??? There is another cure if you use a firewire cable, (if the camera and the computer has a port for one) which is the next thing il try. I have a feeling though my laptop(dell insipiron 9400 dosnt have the port for it) ANYONE OUT THERE PLEASE HELP!! -- Markarron |
