Transfer pictures from one folder to another

I'm currently using Microsoft Vista and trying to organize my pictures. How
do you move pictures from one folder into another? I would like to
consolidate my pictures into one folder. Thank you.

Use Windows Explorer

1. Go to the folder where the files currently are.

2. Click on Edit at top on Tool Bar, then 'select all'.

3. Select 'cut' from Edit, then go to the folder you wish to move them
to, then select 'paste' from Edit.

Once everything is moved, delete the empty folders you no longer need.

Create a new folder, select the photos by holding Ctrl and click on the
photos you want, drag to the new folder.

farbuncle

You can drag the folder (hold left button down) with the pictures to point to
the folder you want to move them to, then release.
