Re: PC won't sleep auto; but will when I hit vista power button
Hi all, In Device Manager, double check these: 1. Network Adapters 2. right click 3. click Properties 4. click Power Management tab 5. make sure the "Allow the computer to turn off this device....." is checked 6. make sure the "Allow this device to wake the computer" is unchecked 7. Ok to apply Also, you may try going here to see if this might help you narrow down the culprit: '_http://www.vistax64.com/tricks-n-tips/63567-powercfg-sleep-problems.html_' () Hope this may help, Shawn -- brink "Practice makes perfect, then you reinstall" Vista 64 Home Premium 1.5 Gig DDR2 533 Mhz (PC4200) RAM |
