Parental Controls not Opening

Yea I have done numerous installs with no luck and the repair option is
not there when loading the system disc. I think that this has come down
to a sporadic problem with some of the 64 ultimate OS discs or something
along the programing lines. All of the advice that I have gotten from
programer buddies as well as from this forum and another have been great
ideas and none have panned out. I am pretty sure that Microsoft in it's
infinate wisdom has failed yet again and I am not willing to spend the
75 bucks or whatever it is to have them try to diagnose or fix the
problem. Unfortunately I think that I am just going to chalk this one
up as a learning experience. Good luck to the rest of you, I hope you

I have been having the same problem nothing happens when clicking
parental controls. followed brink's advice and did the sfc/scannow and
found problems but was not able to fix them so I went ahead with the
repair and it seems that works. Now have new problems to address but not
wanting to hijack I'll keep looking. Thank you for the help Brink
