Windows Mobile Device Center and Win Mobile 3.0
Just bought my Vista desktop and attempting to sync my Audiovox SMT5600
(running WM3). I can establish the partnership but when i go into sync settings for Contacts, Calendar, and Tasks to change them from Exchange to PC, eventually WMDC crashes (usually after syncing up my contacts) and Manage Partnership link gets grayed out. I can't do anything until I delete the Partnership and start all over - with the same results. Additionally, setting up the sync for the first time combines all my info from my phone to Outlook (which was already in sync) so I have 2 of everything. Activesync at least used to ask if i wanted to replace my items on my phone the first time I connected - Vista just combines everyting. What's going on? |
