When I try to install any drivers or updates for my Sony VGN-FE770G, the error message I get is: This program is not intended for use with your computer model. I read that the significant file in this process is C:\WINDOWS\MODEL.TXT and it can be modified. I upgraded from XP to Vista Home Premium four months ago, and this problem started happening only a week ago. Also, Windows Switch Setting Utility does not work properly, causing lags when I try to connect to a wireless network. Sony eSupport has been no help after many hours.
