Vista showing two copies of the same folder
When I tried to tidy a bit in my Start menu I rearranged a few folders. I
i.e. moved something into the "Games" folder and into the "Maintenance folder". Now I see two copies of these folders. One in my local language and one in english. (Spil<=>Games), (Vedligeholdelse<=>Maintenance) When I open the folders, they show the exact same content (not if I open Games and compare to Maintenance, obviously). When I rightclick and select "open" I only see one copy of the folder in my local language, and not in english as it does in the start menu. I find this a bit anoying, anyone knows how to fix this? |

Re: Vista showing two copies of the same folder
Could be 2 shortcuts in your user files.
when you right click the "start button" there is an option to "open" and another to "open all users". Check that the culprit file/folder is not in both, if so delete the one from just "open". Re: Vista showing two copies of the same folder
both folders (Games and Maintenance) are located in
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs there are none of those folders in C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Wind ows\Start Menu\Programs "DefecTalisman" wrote: > Could be 2 shortcuts in your user files. > when you right click the "start button" there is an option to "open" and > another to "open all users".
