Windows update Error code 8000FFFF
I've recently been receiving the following error message in Vista:
Windows could not search for updates: Error code found 8000FFF I've disabled all firewalls and still get this message. I have disabled all spyware as well. I can't think of what the problem could be. Can someone help? Thanks. |

RE: Windows update Error code 8000FFFF
I got the same error on a brand new laptop with Vista Premium installed.
by uninstalling preinstalled symentec antivirus package and reboot, the error goes away. RE: Windows update Error code 8000FFFF
Did you reload Norton afterwards? If so, does the update now work?

RE: Desktop Icons
I'm not sure I understand. What does this have to do with Windows update not
running on Vista?
