How to stop one click DVD drive eject

I recently upgraded my XP to Vista.
Now, whenever I click on DVD drive (D on Windows Explorer, the drive
ejects its tray.
It bothers me a lot especially because my case has a cover at the
front. I believe it's gonna break my front cover eventually if it
keeps doing that.
Is there anyway to stop my DVD drive from ejecting the tray upon each
click?
Thank you for your help in advance.

RE: How to stop one click DVD drive eject

I had to try this myself to see what happens and you are right. I never
clicked on the drive unless a disk was already in so I guess that is why I
hadn't seen this behavior. I guess the theory is you wouldn't be selecting
the drive unless you wanted to put in a disk (hence the opening) or a disk
has already been inserted.
But I don't know how to change this behavior yet. May the registry.
