Google Desktop
First, this may be a stupid question but I have a Google Desktop icon on my
desktop and I don't know how it got there. Does it come bundled with Windows Vista, or from Dell, or is it something I have installed myself? Next, does it affect Vista's searching. If I disable the indexing function of Google Desktop but leave the sidebar on, will it make any difference? |

RE: Google Desktop
Google paid DELL a billion dollars($1,000,000,000) to allow them to put
Google's s**t on Dell's crap. "Dave W" wrote: > First, this may be a stupid question but I have a Google Desktop icon on my > desktop and I don't know how it got there. If you don't want it, go to the Vista version of Add/Remove Programs, Programs and Features, in Control Panel and uninstall it. RE: Google Desktop
I found my RAM usage was running high on my new Dell computer. I deleted the
google desktop and toolbar and it helped free up some RAM. It's not a bad idea to look at all the programs that came with your Dell to see if there are other programs you don't ever plan to use and uninstall them. -- I''m not positive, but I think thinking positive is positively the only way to think.
