Desktop shortcut icons going AWOL.
A strange thing is happening. Sometimes - not everytime - after I click on to
a desktop shortcut for access to Google or BBC for instance, the web site will open but the icon will disappear leaving just the name. After it has gone it is still there in that it can be used but only the name is visible. The next time I switch off and on again everything is visible and back to normal. I am running Vista with Internet Explorer 7 and use TalkTalk. Any ideas out there folks? Thanks in advance, Mick. |

Have seen something similar with the Recycle Bin on a couple of occasions, although not recently. An 'F5' fixed it in that case. -- Jon |
