My power button has gone missing

Recently, my power button (when you click on Start) has gone walk-about. I
can now only turn off my PC by pushing the actually power button on the case.
The only options it gives me are switch user, log off or lock. How can i fix
this??
I am using Vista Home Premium

RE: My power button has gone missing

Open "Registry Editor" >> Navigate to >>

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer

On the Right Pane Delete "NoClose"

Log off and Log in

Temporarily, you can create a shortcut on the desktop to get around this,
until someone else with a fix replies.
