Installation of Windows Vista language pack from Windows Update fails http://support.microsoft.com/kb/942903/en-us If not, then post the 20-30 last lines of C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log to the following newsgroup: microsoft.public.windowsupdate -- Regards, Daniel MartÃ*n Microsoft MVP Windows - Shell/User "ssfurrell" <ssfurrell@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:E77A3CE5-BB82-4BE8-AF43-85C74F0D9CCF@microsoft.com... > After multiple times of tring different ways installing windows Languages > updates I keep getting error Code 1 > here is the details: > > Any Language Pack > > Installation date: ‎12/‎8/‎2007 8:55 PM > > Installation status: Failed > > Error details: Code 1 > > Update type: Optional > > When you install this language pack on Windows Vista Ultimate and select > this language in Change Display Language in Control Panel, Windows > displays > menus and dialog boxes in Arabic.
