Media Center Guide- won't download

I have been unable to record shows for almost three months now, and I finally
figured out that my Guide isn't updating. I have tried to change my
automatic download settings and to manually download the Guide. I never get
an error message, but I also never get an updated Guide. I have searched
blogs and the Microsoft website and tried dozens of solutions with no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. I am running Vista Home Premium 32 bit, and the Guide worked for almost
three months before failing. As far as I know, I didn't run automatic
updates or install anything new around the time that it failed.
