Re: Windows - No Disk
Holy crap, I think you just answered my question, though. I have been having the SAME error since I installed Paint Shop Pro X2 on my system a few days ago. Perhaps I should get rid of it now. -- KingOfChaos |

Re: Windows - No Disk
Maybe not, but you have a program that is telling windows it needs access to some sort of disk or media that it cannot have permissions to and that is what is causing the error. What you may need to do is uninstall all third party programs (games, etc.) from your hard drive and see if that fixes the error. Clean your windows out, in other words -- KingOfChaos |

Re: Windows - No Disk
Yep, as far as I can tell, it fixed it. I was having the same error when I was trying to sync my iPod to my iTunes as well. I am guessing Corel's retarded monitoring program was interfering with the transfer. It was doing it every time I tried to sync the iPod and now its back to normal. -- KingOfChaos |

Re: Windows - No Disk
Try this:
and Remove all USB connections and reboot...if it works reattach connections one at a time Good luck Did the trick for me..and look into here as well: "Raji" wrote: > I tried this > > but did not resolve the problem.. > still getting the message.. > Thanks > > "William" wrote: > > > look at this > > > > > > "KingOfChaos" <> wrote in message > > news:... > > > > > > Maybe not, but you have a program that is telling windows it needs > > > access to some sort of disk or media that it cannot have permissions to > > > and that is what is causing the error. The particular link is related SQL Server, but the work around should also turn off the error warning for your problem. I do suggest you first trying to eliminate the actual problem causing the warning before suppressing the popup. Scroll down to "Workaround" More info on Hard Error Popup Handling; -Michael |
