Vista SP1 update problem

Vista SP1 update problem


Recently I got the installed DVD for Vista SP1 Spread the Word competition.

I failed and received internal error when tried to install SP1.
The error message was
An internal error occurred while installing the SP
Error code: 0x8007000D. See
.... ?LinkId=101139 for details.

My present version is Vista Business Edition (Eng).

Welcome to the forums Tom!

I've read that some anti-virus software can cause that error in Vista.
Try disabling your anti-virus software and attempt the install again.

Let us know if that worked for you.
