Can't open disk with pictures on it...please help!
I am trying to open a disk that was given to me that contains pictures on it. When I check the disk's properties, it shows that 1/2 of the disk has information on it. But when I go to open it (from the COMPUTER page) nothing shows up on the screen other than a message at the top that says "Drag files to this folder to add them to the disc". Can anyone help me? I just want to know what I need to do to fix this so that I can open these pictures. I'm supposed to be doing a presentation with them for Sunday and won't be able to if I can't open the disk. Thanks! ![]() -- qgirl31 |

Is it a CD-RW as opposed to a CD-R? The easiest thing would be to have the person who made the disk make you a new one, but this time just burn the files to a CD-R and not use a CD-RW. It is actually a CD-R. Could it possibly be that she burned the disc using the XP platform and I have VISTA? -- qgirl31 |

No, it isn't that you have Vista. If it were a CD-RW, then it would probably be because you didn't have a program capable of reading UDF-formatted disks. But since it's a CD-R, that doesn't apply.
