Possessed Word 2007

when typing in word or outlook (word as email editor) the cursor
randomly jumps around inserting text in random locations as I type.
Ok... so its not just word its happening here too!!!

I'm using a Dell XPS M1530. I also saw this same strange behavior with
a dell Optiplex several months back. This did not happen in 32-bit Vista
only 64-bit. Has anyone seen or heard of this? Any suggestions?

Hi,

This often happens as the user accidentally brushes the touchpad while
typing. Some laptops will have a switch to disable the touchpad while
typing, check your user manual.
