sysconfig/ boot/ advanced/ tick box on/off for amount of memory ?

I'm trying to get my system to boot with 4 gigs of ram. I've tried all the
hole mapping, timing configs and tweeks - and I am almost finished reading
the internet. This is a good one. Any ideers?

I'm replying to my own post as a post script.. vista ultimate 64, msi diamond
plus, athlon 64 x2 and a 7600 gt pci express. Also this tick box once ticked
shows me only 3072 as a max amount where I guess it should show 4096 as this
is the max for my board. I dunno..
