problem accessing internet options

Rundll32 stopped with internet options

Can someone help me please. I recently tried to open my internet options so
i could delete cookies etc and do some general maintenance. When-ever I
attempt to do this I get the following message

" Windows host process (Rundll32) as stopped
working.........................A problem caused the program to stop working
correctly. Windows wioll close the problem and notify you if a solution is
available"

Please can someone explain what the problem is and how I rectify it.

I am operating with Windows Vista by the way. I think it may have started
after a windows update, although I cannot be sure.

The error already states that Windows will close the proBLEm.

He he........jokes apart,if WER(Windows Error Reporting) is enabled on your
PC,I hope you did report the error.If not yet,I highly recommend to do so.

What is the virus/malware status of the machine? Be sure the computer is
clean:
