Reduce photo size in Vista?
It's easy to reduce the size of a photo for sending by email, but that
always creates a new email message. It's also easy to attach the original photo to an email message that has already been created by the user. But, if I have already created an email, how do I reduce a photo in size and attach it to that user-created email? I know I could copy and paste the contents of the user-created email into the system-created email, but I don't want to do that (eg, I want to reply to an existing email message and retain it in the same conversation thread). I also know that I could reduce the image size by going into Photoshop or IrfanView etc, but is there a way I can do it from within Vista? -- Lindsay Graham Canberra, Australia --------------------------------------------- Please reply only to the newsgroup so that all may benefit. |

Re: Reduce photo size in Vista?
Open Photo Gallery, select the image, right click it and on the contextual
menu click 'Resize'. -- Best regards, Andre Da Costa "Lindsay Graham" <.au> wrote in message news:.gbl... > It's easy to reduce the size of a photo for sending by email, but that > always creates a new email message. Re: Reduce photo size in Vista?
Use Windows Photo Gallery and you can reduce the size to email. If you want
a stand alone one free, download vso image resizer.
