Why, after all these years? > I just copied a 6 GB file from an external drive without problems in less than 5 minutes, where it took over 45 minutes to copy to the drive from a Windows XP machine. A lot depends on what the computers have on them and what hardware is used, not the OS. |

Exactly right, I have no problems at all with Windows Explorer, copying folders that are over 20 Gig daily to a different hard drive. (backup copy) cheers Daniel |
